Brashear’s Getting Green!

This weekend, we built an edible schoolyard garden with a six foot fence on our campus (between behind the auto cage and the base of the steps from the courtyard- where our outdoor classroom used to be years ago) and began clearing out the flower beds in the front of the school by our main entrance.  (there are only a few more feet to go on the flower bed- looking for a few volunteers this week to help finish that!)  It was a great day that I got to share with some amazing people who worked to make our beautiful Brashear even more beautifulER!

I am honored to send the following MEGA superstar shout outs to the staff and students who ROCKED our garden adventure this weekend!

Please look forward to joining us for our next adventure!  I will try to pull something together for Earth Day which is in Friday April 22.

Everyone, especially the kids (staff families and students alike!) all seemed to really enjoy the day.  Please enjoy the pictures!  And understand that I may be the world’s WORST photographer…there are many more pictures I will try to send out a few more once I get them all together!
